GROUND ZERO CIRCUIT:

This circuit class comprises of a variety of stations with a set working period and a set recovery period usually 30 seconds, it comprises of weight lifting, functional movements and high intensity aerobics, this class is  45 minutes long. This circuit has more resistance training that the HIIT circuit class.

Examples of stations might include, tyre hitting, dumbbell exercises, barbell exercises, air bike, rower, Bulgarian bag, kettlebell movements, squats, hex bar deadlift, core exercises and many more…….


GROUND ZERO HIIT :

ARE YOU READY TO SWEAT?

This circuit class is high intensity interval training, it comprises of a variety of stations that have a set working time and a very short recovery period, it uses lighter weights and full body high intensity movements, these exercises are performed  at 100% effort, going as hard and fast as you can. The intense bursts of exercise followed by the short recovery period keeps the heart rate up. This circuit is perfect for preserving and gaining lean muscle whilst speeding up your metabolism for the day meaning it is excellent for fat burn.

Examples of stations might include dumbell burpees, shuttle runs, weighted ropes, box jumps, air bike, kettle swings, mountain climbers, jumping exercises, skierg and many more……


GROUND ZERO INDOOR CYCLING:

A PARTY ON THE BIKE! With the cycle queen herself, the crazy Jodie Collis! Known for her whooping, cheering and generally very loud voice haha!

Indoor cycling Indoor Cycling (known by its trademark name as ‘spin’) is a high intensity cardiovascular workout on a stationary bike, that gets the sweat pumping as you travel on a constantly changing and challenging journey lead by our motivational trainers. This class is suitable for all fitness levels and has less impact than most workouts, keeping the impact off the knees and feet. Indoor cycling torches those calories which is great for weight loss as well as toning the lower body and increases endurance all to upbeat music. Strength will be increased in the major muscles in the legs and core, as the resistance is increased.


GROUND ZERO PILATES:

Pilates is a system of exercises that improves strength, flexibility, and posture. It emphasizes your body’s core the abdomen, obliques, lower back, inner and outer thighs and glutes.  Pilates develops strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, coordination, balance, and good posture.


GROUND ZERO PUMP:

IF ITS HURTING, ITS WORKING!

Pump uses light to moderate weights to get your whole body lean and toned through lots of repetitions to the sound of great beats. Another challenging and motivating workout that accommodates for all levels of fitness and experience. In this high energy, low impact workout you will use a mixture of barbells and other equipment to improve you muscular endurance.


GROUND ZERO AB’S BLAST:

FEEL THE BURN!

All the exercises to work our abdominals. Some of the exercises may include sit up variations and plank variations. Even if you have never been to a class before and simply want to tone up this class is a fun alternative to the gym and is suitable for all ages and abilities.


GROUND ZERO BODY BLAST:

NO PAIN, NO GAIN!

The class that does it all! A bodyweight or weighted cardio session for maximum calorie burn and to get the metabolism boosted for the day, followed by weighted and body weight exercises for full body toning!


GROUND ZERO METAFIT:

TIME TO WORK!

Metafit™ is the original 30 minute, non-choreographed, body weight only HIIT workout, created by a former Royal Marine Commando, Metafit(™) combines the latest HIIT training techniques with traditional ‘Old school’ body weight exercises to set the metabolism on fire! It is designed to keep your body burning calories long after your training session is complete. It’s tough, that’s why it gets results and is suitable for everyone as you can adjust the exercises to suit your own abilities.


W.O.D.

BUT DID YOU DIE THOUGH?

W.O.D (Workout of the Day), this class can be a mixture of any different explosive and endurance movement as well as a variety of lifting techniques and functional fitness moves,  in an all over body workout.


WHITEBOARD WORKOUT:

This is a no instructor class, an adaption due to COVID-19 to ensure everyone gets to train.

There will be a workout on the whiteboard which could be any variation of exercises and rep schemes,  it can be a mixture of any different explosive and endurance movements as well as a variety of  functional fitness movements or cardio machines, an all over body workout. This could be any workout, jut as exciting as Christmas right?!


GROUND ZERO INDOOR CYCLING:

This is a no instructor class, an adaption due to COVID-19 to ensure everyone gets to train.

There will be no instructor in this class BUT fear not, the music will be pumping, the lights will be flashing and the timer will be set, your workout will be on the whiteboard! ARE YOU READY?
